From Burnout to Balance: Building My 5-Year Vision (and Helping You Build Yours Too)

What keeps me going every single day isn’t just where I am right now—it’s the vision of where I’m going.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in a cycle of work, debt, or burnout, you know how easy it is to put your dreams on hold. You start to believe that “this is just the way it is.” But I’ve learned something powerful over the years: your current reality does not define your future. The life you imagine for yourself five years from now can be completely different from the life you’re living today—if you’re brave enough to dream it, believe it, and take action toward it.

So, I want to share my own 5-year vision with you. Not just because it excites me, but because I believe that when we share our dreams out loud, we not only hold ourselves accountable—we inspire others to start building their own.

My 5-Year Vision

Five years from now, I see myself hosting first responder women’s retreats. Imagine hiking through mountain trails, mornings of yoga and meditation, afternoons spent with horses, evenings of nourishing meals, and deep conversations that help women reconnect to themselves. These retreats will be a safe, sacred space for women who give so much of themselves in service to others, but often forget to refill their own cups.

I see myself debt free, standing on Arbonne stages, being celebrated for my leadership, my persistence, and my courage to never quit. I see myself earning the trips, traveling often, and using my travel business to not only explore the world, but to also help others create more freedom in their own lives.

I see myself healthy, vibrant, and free. No longer working in policing, but living fully aligned with my purpose—helping women move from burnout to balance through coaching, retreats, community, and the businesses I’ve built.

Most of all, I see myself creating safe spaces where women can heal, grow, and thrive.

My Why

At the heart of this vision is a simple but powerful truth: my why is freedom.

Freedom for me. Freedom for my kids. Freedom for the women I serve.

Freedom from the weight of debt.
Freedom from careers or situations that drain us.
Freedom from the belief that “this is all there is.”

I want women to know that they don’t have to settle. That they can build a life where health, abundance, and purpose exist together.

Linking Arms With Other Women

But here’s the thing—this vision isn’t just about me.

I don’t want to walk this path alone. I want women to link arms with me and build their own visions too. I want to see other women map out their 5-year plan, one that’s aligned with their dreams, their health, their finances, and their freedom.

Because the truth is, we rise higher when we rise together.

That’s why I share openly about my journey—not just the highlight reel, but the struggles, the lessons, and the steps I’m taking. Because I know there are women out there who feel the same pull I felt: the pull for more. More freedom. More balance. More meaning.

How to Start Building Your 5-Year Vision

If reading this sparks something inside you, here’s a simple way to begin:

  1. Close your eyes and imagine your life five years from now. Where do you wake up? What does your day look like? Who are you surrounded by?

  2. Write it down in vivid detail. Don’t just list goals—describe how you’ll feel, what you’ll see, what you’ll hear, and who you’ll be.

  3. Anchor it into action. Ask yourself: what’s one small step I can take today that moves me closer to that vision? Then take it.

Your five-year vision doesn’t have to look like mine. Maybe it’s living by the ocean, working remotely, running your own business, or simply being present with your family without financial stress. Whatever it looks like, it’s yours—and it’s possible.

Let’s Do This Together

This is where I am headed: retreats, freedom, travel, health, and a community of strong women rising together. And I want to bring you with me.

So, let me ask you:
✨ If you could dream 5 years ahead, what would your vision look like?

I’d love for you to share it with me. Connect with me on Instagram @therawresponder and let’s start mapping out your own 5-year plan.

Because you don’t have to figure it out alone. You can link arms with me—and together, we’ll rise higher.
